Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Little Bites (yobaby.in) collects, why, and the choices you have. Little Bites is operated by LAVIT TECHNOLABS PRIVATE LIMITED (“we”, “us”).

1. Information you give us

• Mobile number and name. Your number when you sign in, buy Pro, restore Pro or ask for the Recipe book PDF; your name only if you choose to add it. We don’t verify numbers by OTP.
• Baby details. Your baby’s name (optional), age and weight, if you add them, so we can show recipes that suit your baby’s age.
• Messages. Anything you send us by email, phone or WhatsApp.

2. Information collected automatically

• An anonymous account ID created for your device the first time you open the app, so your plan and recipe views are remembered.
• How you use the app: recipes you open and how long you read them, filters and searches, how far you scroll, and taps on the plans, payment and PDF screens.
• Where you came from: the website or ad that brought you (for example ad campaign tags and the referring site), and whether you opened us inside the Facebook or Instagram app.
• Your country, worked out from your IP address, so we can show prices in rupees or US dollars. We store the country, not the IP address. Our hosting and database providers may log IP addresses as part of running their servers.
• Purchases: what you chose to buy, the price, currency, time, and whether payment succeeded.

3. Information that stays on your phone

Your baby’s photo and your saved recipes are kept only in your browser’s storage on your phone and are never uploaded to us. The app also keeps a copy of your profile, baby details, plan and settings on your phone so it works offline. Clearing your browser data for yobaby.in removes them from the phone.

4. Payments

Payments are handled by a licensed third-party payment gateway. Your card, UPI or bank details go directly to the payment gateway; we never see or store them. We receive only the payment status, amount and a transaction reference.

5. How we use your information

• To run Little Bites: show recipes for your baby’s age and diet, remember your plan, and unlock Pro or the PDF after you pay.
• To restore Pro on another phone when you enter the same mobile number.
• To reply to you about an order, refund or question you raised.
• To understand which recipes and features are useful and to fix problems.
• To measure which of our ads bring people to the app.

Your number is used only for your Little Bites account. We don’t sell your personal data, and we don’t send you promotional messages without your consent.

6. Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that run the app for us, and only what each one needs:

• Supabase — our database and account system.
• Vercel — hosts the website and tells us the country of a visit.
• Payment gateway — processes your payment.
• Meta (Facebook / Instagram) — the Meta Pixel tells Meta when a page is viewed, a recipe is opened, checkout is started or a payment is made (with the price and currency), so we can measure our ads. When you pay, our server also tells Meta about that purchase (the price and currency, with your IP address, your browser type, Meta’s cookie IDs from your browser and a scrambled form of your device ID), so the ad that brought you gets the credit. We don’t send Meta your name or number. Meta may use cookies and combine this with information it holds about you under its own privacy policy.
• YouTube — when you play a recipe video, it loads from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced (youtube-nocookie.com) player.
• Google Fonts and jsDelivr — deliver the app’s fonts and a code library; they receive your IP address when your browser loads them.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our users and our service. Some providers store data on servers outside India.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

Little Bites uses your browser’s local storage to keep you signed in and remember your settings. The Meta Pixel sets cookies used for ad measurement. You can block third-party cookies in your browser settings, and manage ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences.

8. Children

Little Bites is meant for parents and caregivers aged 18 or over. Information about a baby is entered by their parent or caregiver, and we use it only to suggest age-appropriate recipes.

9. How long we keep it

We keep your account information while you use Little Bites and delete it when you ask us to. Payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require.

10. Your rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable laws, you can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw your consent, or nominate someone to act for you. Write to ankit_7agarwal@yahoo.in from, or mentioning, the mobile number on your account. We reply within 30 days.

11. Security

All traffic to Little Bites is encrypted (HTTPS), and our database only lets each account read its own records. No method of storing data is perfectly secure, but we work to protect yours.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be shown in the app.
